Description of Services

Master Lubbock Deck & Fence provides residential and commercial deck construction, fence installation, and related outdoor living services in Lubbock, TX and surrounding communities. All services are performed by or under the supervision of licensed and insured contractors. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion, including work that cannot be completed safely or within our service area.

Estimates and Pricing

All estimates provided by Master Lubbock Deck & Fence are based on information available at the time of the site visit and are subject to change if the scope of work changes or if unforeseen conditions are discovered during construction - such as concealed rot, structural deficiencies, or utility conflicts not visible during the estimate.

A written proposal will be provided before any work begins. No work starts without your written authorization. Price changes that arise from unforeseen conditions will be communicated to you before additional work proceeds. Estimates do not include permit fees, unless specifically stated in the written proposal.

Scheduling and Cancellation

Project start dates are estimates and may be affected by weather, permit processing times, material availability, or other factors outside our control. We will communicate schedule changes as promptly as possible.

If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations after materials have been ordered or permits have been submitted may result in costs passed through to the customer for materials purchased and non-refundable permit fees. Specific cancellation terms will be included in the signed project agreement.

Payment Terms

Payment schedules are outlined in the written project agreement and vary by project size and scope. For most projects, a deposit is required before work begins to cover material costs, with the remaining balance due upon completion. We accept payment by check, electronic transfer, or other methods noted in your project agreement.

Final payment is due upon project completion and successful final inspection, unless a different schedule is set forth in your agreement. Unpaid balances may be subject to interest charges and, if necessary, may be referred to collections or result in a lien on your property in accordance with TX law.

Customer Responsibilities

As the property owner, you are responsible for:

• Disclosing any known property conditions that may affect the project, including underground utilities, easements, or HOA restrictions.
• Obtaining any required HOA approvals before construction begins, when applicable.
• Ensuring reasonable access to the work area for our crew and any required inspectors during the project.
• Keeping pets, children, and non-crew members clear of the active work area during construction.

Warranty Disclaimers

Master Lubbock Deck & Fence warrants that all work will be performed in a professional manner and in compliance with applicable building codes. Any warranty specific to labor or workmanship will be set forth in your written project agreement.

Materials are covered by the applicable manufacturer warranty. Master Lubbock Deck & Fence does not extend manufacturer warranties beyond their original terms and is not responsible for defects in materials caused by manufacturer error, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

Warranties do not cover damage caused by weather events, acts of nature, improper maintenance by the owner, modifications made by parties other than Master Lubbock Deck & Fence, or normal aging and weathering of materials.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Master Lubbock Deck & Fence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website or the performance of our services. Our total liability for any claim arising from a project shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that specific project. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
